[edit] Biography

William Horatio Eldon was born in 811(BA) to two members of the Immortal High Council. He was a shy child, afraid of his powers and in the belief that he was "abnormal". In school, William was able to break free from his fears, now seeing that all of his friends had their own powers. He was a popular child, known for his wit and ability to "charm". He spent 20 years in education.

His first love was a pyrokinetic called Shepressa. They shared their love deeply, but she was accidentally killed by an insane boy named Lou Demente. This made him distraught, and he began to seperate from his friends. A deep deppression set in, and William became something of a dark horse.

Originally, William took work as a forseter, using his strength to enhance his wood-cutting skills. He insisted that he was perfectly happy with this job, but after pressure from his parents he took up a job in the Council. His charm and wit allowed him to quicly acend the ranks, and soon he had slotted himself a place watching over the Harbendharjh Jail. He found a certain fascination with watching the convicts suffer, imagining the boy who killed his sweet Shepressa.

Stress came in the Third Age, when a rush of criminals came in from the God Wars. They had all been convicted due to using their powers to fight in the war. Guardian unleashed a side of un-seen fury, and became known as "The Inquisitor". He only broke free from this personality when invited to attend a school reunion (Class of 821(BA)).

The reunion was successful, and William was soon back to his old self. But with old friends come old enemies, and on one night out Lou Demente caught up with him. Lou showed him both images of war and his own, deep mind as well as images of Sheppresa. Driven to the edge of insanity, William lost control of his power and killed Lou as well as two of his friends.

Under a new alias, "The Guardian" was sentenced and imprisoned in four hours. He was sentenced to three centuries in the Harbendharjh, one for each Immortal killed. William became solelm, withdrawn. While other prisoners sung or chatted, he became a mute. His knowledge of the universe was increased by listening to the prisoners, their cheers enriching his experience.

In a series of rare circumstances, after a century in the Harbendharjh, William was exiled to an island on Gielinor. This island, for some, unknown reason, did not allow magic and had terribe weather surrounding it. At first, he was hesitant to adapt and tried to escape, failing nonetheless. He came into contact with the island's other inhabitants, the ZTI. They gave him a cave and some, limited, supplies. Within the month he had made a security system using Lunician Symbols and had used his power to carve a number of rooms. He also created a suit made from stone, to protect himself.

When The Assassin, his brother and Prototype landed on the island while searching for the Conscious, they ventured furthur in-land. Able to get past the security systems, Guardian first mistook them for Lunician Council members. After they explained their troubles, he welcomed them in and gave them a home.

Meanwhile, The Clone Drones, the ZTI's army, had found evidence of the visitors. Kingsley Emanuel, the Leader's aide, travelled to Guardian's cave. Questioning him about the visitors, he barged in and aprehended them. Despite the knowledge that they could easily dispose od him, they followed him through the jungle. Unfortunately, they got lost and were discovered by the Scarecrow.

After escaping from the creature and being marched into the ZTI caves, William and his troupe were temporarily imprisoned.

[edit] Personality

William's original personality was fun-loving, inquisitive and relaxed, enjoying a beer now and then as well as the occasional game of the mental sport known as mind-hula. However, this was a screen to cover his deep grief over the loss of his parents. When William lost control of his powers, he became solelm, withdrawn. His many years of exile made him bitter, but made him wiser none-the-less.

[edit] Immortal Powers

William has the power of Enhanced Strength, which means he has a great deal of strength without the nessecery muscle. This comes with a slightly thicker skin, which allows him to withstand blows to stone or glass. In human terms, this gives him fifty more levels in Strength than he has earned.

[edit] Trivia
