The RuneScape Re-education centre or Tutorial Island 2 is an island nearby the large Mod Island. Here, disruptive, rude players who generally break or bend the rules are sent to be taught a lesson. JaGex considered this method much more useful and beneficial, considering the future, than banning most rule-brakers.

The Centre is due south of Mod Island. Connected by a narrow spit of land is the Player Prison, where the more rowdy of players are housed. The island is surrounded by a coral reef, thick with trees. This makes it completely unescapable, except for glitches.
