From RuneScape Fan Fiction Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

This is a sample page of the common article in the RuneScape Fan Fiction Wiki, all experienced users are encouraged to edit this page, and new users should use it as base for their articles.

Contents

[edit] Title of the page

You can put an ownership template at the top of the page, showing who wrote it, and how much you can edit it. The most common is Template:Property. For more info, see RuneScape Fan Fiction:Ownership.

Here goes general the introduction of your article, what it's about, what are the characteristics of your fake, and so on... To make a contents box, type __TOC__

[edit] Sub-Title

Here you can add additional information, drops in the case of a monster, walkthrough in the case of a quest or whatever comes to your mind, try to be more specific than the introduction...

[edit] Section

Here you can add more specific information of something related to your fake, example: if you were talking of a glitch caused by a random event you created, you can make a section to explain what caused the glitch, and then another section about the consequences of the glitch.

From this point on, you can add as many sections and sub-titles you want.

At the end of the page you can add any proper categories like this:

[[Category: your category here]]

the category will appear in the bottom of the page, to see it, just scroll down, to add more than one category, just repeat the code, so it will be like this:

[[Category:category 1 here]] [[Category:category 2 here]] and so on

I hope this guide helps you, you can also use the various templates, just search for them, some commonly used templates are :

Template:Infobox Monster

Template:Infobox non-player character

Template:Construction

and others.

Remember, if you see something in a page and you would like to put it in your own page, you are allowed to do so under the wiki's license (the GFDL) as long as you credit the original author.
