An Ogre warrior is a crafted monster, meaning that players can only encounter it after releasing it from an ogre warrior box, doing so gives the player 1.3 Monstercrafting xp. Creating and releasing the box requires a Monstercrafting level of 37. Ogre warriors have very high defence against Melee and Ranged attacks. High leveled players won't need to worry about this, but for low-leveled players who would rarely do damage on the monster, fire spells should be used against it, as the creature is very weak to them. Ogre warriors are popular among players who want to train their Farming level, since most of its drops consist of seeds. 3 seeds are dropped at a time (excluding the Magic seed, where only 1 is dropped each time) which would explain why so many players would want to release the creature from its box.

The Ogre warrior and Ogre ranger do not share any seed drops. Higher level seeds tend to be dropped by the Ogre warrior. Also, the ogre warrior drops a few weapons whereas the ogre rangers doesn't.
