Welcome to Music to my Eyes!

Hello, I'm starting another contest, and it will very different to ones ever seen before. What is asked of you for this contest is to write what's called a "songfic". For those of you who don't know, it's a piece of fiction that correspond to lyrics of a chosen song. Read the example here.

Well, I'm sure you can do better than me, but you get the general idea. On another note, in this contest you have to do the full song, write down the lyrics (you can find these on Google) and write a story in between verses.

I will be writing a better one myself, but it's not part of the contest. I will be judging, and I will be judging the story by it's plot, not song (if you do High School Musical or something lame, then I will judge it by song :P)

• Each contestant must do a different song. If I see two entries on Black Sabbath's Iron Man, it may be difficult to judge (they could be too similar).
• Each story must correspond with the lyrics of your chosen song. If your story is about fluffy chickens in a heavy metal song, it's not gonna make sense, is it?
• If there any swear words and other bad language in a song, either replace them with asterisks or with a similar, less offensive word.
• Keep the story within the continuity of RuneScape, so no nuclear warheads and such.
• The song chosen must have lyrics.

When entering, please put the abbreviation "MtmE" in the title, and then the name of the song.

• MtmE/Indestructible - The evil dude (I'm not entering, but use my one as an example of what yours should look like)

The deadline is June the 1st, 2009. That's enough time to choose an appropriate song for an appropriate story.

Currently, I don't know what the prizes will be, but I won't give out certificates because I am crap at making them. One thing for sure is that the winning entries will get featured on the main page.

However, some entries should get categorized, but remember no certificates will be given out unless someone else opts to make them.
