The Escaper[]

Talk to the jail guard on the roof of the jail and he'll tell you that one of the prisoners have escaped from his jail cell. He tells you to look somewhere near the dwarven mines. He suspects the best way to escape to the Wilderness is through there. Go to the dwarven mines.

The Abandoned Mine[]

Once you have reached the mines, head to the part of the mine where the coal truck ride is. There will be a small hole near the wall opposite the coal truck. Enter that hole. You will fall a long way and lose 50 hp. Eat some of your food and continue up the path where you'll find a small stick. Pick it up and use it with the tinderbox to light it before entering the dark tunnel. Go through the dark tunnel and you will now be inside the abandoned mine shaft. Ignore and run past all the skeletons and ghosts until you reach a crossroad. Each path leads to the same place but take the left one because its shorter.

Pursuit[]

Once you get to the end of the tunnel you will have to swim across a small waterhole. In the process your torch will become wet. Once you swim across, the tunnel will now be slightly brighter for you to see. At one end of the tunnel system you will see a man trying to push away some rubble blocking the path. It looks like hes the one. He spots you and starts pushing the rubble faster approach at least 4 squares away from him and he manages to climb over the rubble. Climb over the rubble and chase him into the next room. Same thing goes next as you approach 4 squares away from him and he starts running towards some ruins. A cutscene plays and he trips on some rocks which then topples over some ruined pillars which blocks the path.

Proceed to the other path and go through all barricades and blockades (20 Agility required). Once you have passed all blockades. You will come to a room where the prisoner is cornered. Attack the prisoner (level 35) until he gives in and both of you will then reappear outside the dwarven mine entrance at Ice Mountain. Return to the guard and he congratulates you.
