One of the aspects of being an Immortal is the fact that each Immortal holds a special ability deep within their genes. While every Immortal holds one of these powers, some may not be able to manifest them until an old age, and others are only able to use their power to take others. Abilities can be seperated into three groups: Mental, Physical and Elemental. These are the powers that have been demonstrated so far, with some extras.

[edit] Elemental Powers
An elemental power is defined as an ability that allows the user to control the elements - those being Fire, Air, Water and Eart as well as variations of them (Ice, for example) and Ether (Electricity, radiation etc.) This can be done in any way, including by the mind (a common mis-conception states that mind-controlled abilities like Aquakenesis and Pyrokenesis are mental).
[edit] Pyrokenesis
- Known holders: Jennifer Smith, several Immortal Council members.
- Elements involved: Fire.
Pyrokenesis is the creation and manipulation of Fire using the mind. The body is able to produce large amounts of heat that can be focused to set fire to air itself, and thus create small fire-balls etc. The extent of this power is unknown, but with training a person can make their flames hotter, turrn into a human-torch, make fire into waves and streams and also create beams.

- Known holders: Tibernicus Hellenius
- Elements involved: Ice.
Cryokenesis the the ability to collect water-vapour in the air and withdraw it's heat, causing an area of the user's body/ area near the user to be covered in ice/freeze. The ability has a relatively close range, the furthest area uisually being about two metres away. A similar effect occours when people with Aquakenesis go below 0 degrees.
[edit] Electrical Manipulation
- Known holders: An Immortal Council member holds the "Absorbtion" aspect of this ability, Christamos Smith has the "Electromagnetism" aspect of the ability and Gorak Spartacus holds the full ability.
- Elements involved: Fire, Air and Electricity.
Electrical Manipulation is the creation, manipulation and absorbtion of Electricity. Many Immortals have different aspects of this power seperately, such as being able to only absorb Electricity and not create it. The body develops a new type of cell that attracts and repels Electrons, and large focusses of these allow the user to take total controll over Electricity: In many different ways. It can be made into force fields, bolts,arcs, and balls as well as being able to seperate atomic bonds and fuse them. The body will also work as a kind of electromagnet over conducters. The only restriction of the power is that the user can only work with Electrical Conducters.
Note: This power allows the user to absorb the life force of others and take their powers.
[edit] Aquakenesis
- Known holders: Arasiovik Hellenius
- Elements involved: Water.
Aquakenesis is the the creation and manipulation of water using the mind. The body takes moisture as well as Hydrogen and Oxygen from the Atmosphere and allows the user to expell this through his/her pores. A side-effect of the ability is that the user can survive long periods of time without water. People with Aquakenesis are usually vulnerable in icy or hot conditions.

- Known holders: Custodis Hellenius (Absorbed)
- Elements involved: Fire, Air and Uranium
Radiation Emmission is the natural production of Radiation. The body grows an extra organ in which Nuclear Fission takes place in a controlled environment. There is also a secondary system of nerve-lines through which this radion is emitted, usually from the hands. This is a dangerous power, as at first the system cannot easily be controlled.

- Known holders: An oddly-dressed barrister at Gorak Spartacus's Trial and Elpis Karara.
- Elements involved: Air
Flight involves the manipulation of wind over one's own body. The body develops a third lung that is used to collect air, which is then expelled from un-specified points on the body. Flight involves a lot of action similar to gymnastics, so a frequent user will need to have a thin build.
[edit] Mental Powers
A mental power is one that allows the user to observe the brain-functions of others, but this can be perceived in many ways. The classification includes the control of the mind, mind-reading and making people see things that aren't there. It also covers Telekenesis, but only because a user of such can control anything and not one specific element.
[edit] Persuasion
Known holders: The Judge, Custodis Hellenis (The Assassin) (Absorbed), Orion Hellenius, an unknown criminal.
This ability allows the user to make another sane person follow their commands. Use of the ability usually involves a darkening of the eyes and a grainy voice. The power can be resisted by strong minds and it also depends on the confidence of the user.

Known holders: The Judge, an unknown criminal.
Telekenesis is the ability to move objects with the mind. The ability usually requires small physical movements like pointing and sweeping for accuracy. The user must also have significant strength to lift certain items - it is harder to lift something Telekeneticly than using physical strength.

Known holders: The Judge, Lou Demente
Illusion is the ability to alter light patterns with the mind and disguise physical objects with complex illusions. It takes a skilled and strong-minded person to see through these Illusions, but a skilled user can make his/her images in-penetrable. The ability also allows the user to manipulate the sight of others. The user does not actually alter light itself (for that would make it Elemental) but alters the way targets percive light.

Known holders: The Judge
Telepathy allows the user to controll the minds of others, altering their perceptions and being able to read their minds. They can also plant thoughts in peoples heads and find out information about their genetics.
Note: This ability allows the user to reach into the minds of others to find out how to use their powers. This only works for Mental powers.

Physical powers involve abnormal manipulation of the body and it's systems - whether the body produces drugs for it's own advantage or can disfigure and/or stretch itself. This classification also houses abilities that are caused by manipulation of a certain body part, such as the vocal chords.
[edit] Enhanced Strength
Known holders: William Eldon (The Guardian) and an alternate Arasiovik Hellenius.
Enhanced Strength is an ability that gives the person super-human strength. The body produces a natural steroid that increases the body's muscle capacity. In human terms, this means that the person has 50 more levels in "Strength" than he/she has earned.
[edit] Advanced Mutation
Known holders: Chris Grantly (Tarqininus Hellenius)
Advanced Mutation is the ability to mutate one's body into another form. This form is usually more powerfull than a human form and is genetically disfigured. Every holder of this power mutates into a different being.
[edit] Sound Manipulation
Known Holders: Clarrissa Ärkano and Maria Democritus.
Sound Manipulation is the ability to amplify one's vocal cords to manipulate sound to different frequencies and volumes. The user can also absorb different types of energy and convert them into a sonic blast. Users can become convincing spys due to their ability to lower/highten their voices.
[edit] Muscle Mimicry
Known Holders: Unknown
Mimicry is the ability to copy a feat seen by the user, and immediately become a master of it. For example, if the user sees a person sword fighting like a master, the user will immediately become a master of the sword, and will never forget it.

Known Holders: Custodis Hellenius (The Assassin)
Allows the user to remove and absorb the powers of other Immortals and then use them as base powers.
