The Genesis Beast can be fought by attempting to cast Crumble Undead on the Corporeal Beast in the Corporeal Beast's Lair. After casting Crumble Undead, a cutscene plays where the Corporeal Beast seems to get some divine power and turns golden.

It is required that you bring a team of 10 or more to fight the Genesis Beast, as it has a monstrous amount of health. It can hit over 7,000 with any attack style, so 43 Prayer is also almost mandatory. It can also summon smaller creatures such as Purity golems to attack you.

There is no need to bring any defensive armor unless its an Arcane or Elysian spirit shield, so bring armor with the highest offensive bonuses possible. Also do not bring any items you do not want to lose, as YOU WILL NOT GET A GRAVESTONE ON DEATH.

It is possible to bring familiars in the room, as well as a Dwarf multicannon, but the Genesis Beast can destroy your cannon by walking on it.

It is worth noting that the Genesis Beast and the Void Elemental are the only monsters able to drop any possible non-quest and non-discontinued item. It always drops six items at once including the holy elixir.
