Chicken slaying armour is a reward from The Evil Chicken's Revenge quest and can also be bought from a mourner at Tawn21's grave in the Mining Guild just near the entrance for 300,000 coins for it all. It has exceptionally high defence levels, overtaking Runite armour as the strongest armour for free-to-players.
The Chicken Slaying Armour has 2 different special abilities.
Full Set Ability[]
Similarly to the Barrows armour when the full set of this armour is worn it produces a special ability. There is a slight chance recorded to be 1 in 100 that a Chicken may appear and attack the enemy dealing 10 damage a hit, the problem with this is the Chicken attacks slower than all the other weapons in the game at 1 hit per 10 seconds. Making it pointless in player killing but very effective when attacking high level monsters because the chicken doesn't go away until the monster dies.
Chicken Slaying Ability[]
This weapon becomes twice as powerful when attacking a chicken making its use in Recipe for Disaster more and more common. It deals twice the damage to all chickens including the Evil Chicken.
