The dragon cane is obtained as a reward from level 8+ Treasure Trails. It is the most powerful cane in RuneScape. As opposed to standard dragon items, level 58 Attack to wield. It is topped with a cut dragonstone gem. It is not used often as a weapon, since it is essentially a weaker version of the dragon mace, although some players use it for cosmetic style or as a display of wealth. Like all treasure trail items, the cane can be stored in a Treasure chest in a Player-owned house.

Like most dragon weapons, it has a special attack, called Spin. It causes the player to spin the cane, boosting the player's Attack, Agility and Defence by 40%. After the spin, the player raises it over their shoulder and brings it down onto the opponent.

At the time of its release, the dragon cane was worth over 1 million coins, but since then it has dropped to 100,000 coins. It is still used by players as a symbol of status.
