The berserker broadsword is the most powerful player-made weapon in the game. It's extremely heavy, heavier than the Godswords, and has a huge strength bonus. It is extremely difficult to make.

Requirement to make: 85 Crafting, 90 Smithing, 87 Magic, 80 Strength, Family Crest

The berserker broadsword is basically a huge sword made of a gold-runite alloy. It shines from the properties of the gold and is extremely tough due to the runite. Stats-wise, it's a less accurate, much more powerful version of the rune two-handed sword.

Special Attack[]

Its special attack is known as the "Wrath Thrust". The Wrath Thrust does an extra 20% damage and uses half the special bar.

Making the berserker broadsword[]

In order to make a berserker broadsword, you will need to first create a broadsword hilt, broadsword blade, and broadsword crest. To make those, you will need these several materials:

Unf broadsword hilt:

5 Gold bars,

3 Rune bars,

2 Mithril dragonhides (obtainable by killing Mithril dragons),

2 Black bragon horns (obtainable by killing Black dragons)

Broadsword blade:

8 Rune bars,

Diamond shards (obtainable by smashing two diamonds together - requires 80 Strength),

2 Black dragon fangs (obtainable by killing Black dragons)

Broadsword crest:

5 Perfect gold bars,

1 Cut onyx,

1 Dragon eye (obtained by killing Brutal green dragons)

10 Tiny elf crystals (obtained by killing Elves)

Simply attach the crest and hilt together to make an "Incomplete broadsword hilt". Enchant the hilt with the Level-6 Enchant spell to make an "Enchanted broadsword hilt". Smith the blade and enchanted hilt together with 90 Smithing to make the berserker broadsword.

Charging[]

The berserker broadsword begins very weak, like an inaccurate version of the rune two-handed sword. As you do damage with it, however, it will gain strength slowly, one percent of its maximum for every 1000 damage done. It is meant to be an extremely powerful and slow-gaining weapon. Once the percentage is full, you can use the Special Attack in a more powerful way, increasing your strength level by 25 (not stackable) and using up 15% of the completion bar. (thus weakening the sword massively for the hits after that - approximately from +140 to +125)
